Rocky Point campground has 12 single-family campsites and is located on the shores of Utica Reservoir in the Stanislaus National Forest. All sites are first-come, first-serve. The campground is usually open early June to late September. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs.

Rocky Point Campground is part of the Alder Lake Park Campground system, and it is located approximately 4 miles east of the park entrance on Highway 7 and on the southern branch of the reservoir. This end of the reservoir naturally doesn't get all of the attention that the north end draws, and it also may also be a calmer spot in terms of prevailing winds.
